| Como Park Elementary Library Media Center |  | Como Park Elementary Library provides access to over 32,000 print resources through our online library catalog. This catalog is available in the library on seven work stations or from classroom computers. Students use the Accelerated Reader Program to find materials that are just the right reading level for them. Online resources are also available through eleven computers.Teaching staff have access to our video library and picture files. A full-time Library media specialist teaches students how to locate, evaluate and use resources. A part-time Library media para-professional helps to keep the library open at all times. Intermediate students are able to come to the media center at any time during the school day. Primary students and Special Education students may also come but most often come to scheduled library sessions where they can come to appreciate reading and learn about authors and how materials are arranged in the library.
