Fifth Grade Expectations
Reading:
•Students will participate in daily leveled guided reading groups.
•Students will read at grade level or improve their reading level by 1.5 years.
•Students will read 50 AR points or more.

Math:
•Students will participate in Everyday Math curriculum and do individualized work through Accelerated Math.
•Students will increase their math scores on MCA by more than a year.

Writing:
•Students will participate in daily Writers' Workshop.
•Student writing will reflect awareness and use of the Six Traits of Writing within multiple genre.
