Technology Integration is the Key Mrs. Odeen, Technology Coordinator Mrs. Dickman, Technology Integration Specialist The use of technology is essential for ensuring today's students are prepared for tomorrow's workplace and Como Elementary takes the job of preparing students seriously. Como has computers in every classroom, two traditional computer labs, and a mobile lab that includes laptop computers that can be used in any classroom.  Students use computers daily for reading tests and math practice through programs such as Accelerated Reader® and Accelerated Math®. Kindergarten, first, second, and third grade students have regular technology classes with professional technology staff throughout the school year, while fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students learn to apply technology skills learned in the younger grades to their learning in the classroom. Many classrooms use technology to publish writing and develop multi-media presentations.
