He has glasses
Every one hits him
They laugh at him

He is very lonely
He is a bump on a log.

My Teacher
by
Bao

(For Ms. Ballard)

We met for the first time.
First day in third grade.
You were nice and helpful.
You taught me with patience.
I worked hard.
I learned math and English.
Time goes by.
I move on with school
We barely see each other
Still, I remember you
You'll always be my teacher.

Inspiration
by
Bao

Everybody has a picture in their mind
About a strong desire.
They talk and discuss it
Keeping them inspired
Searching for the fulfillment
With great intention and patience.
Although it may be hard
Consistency will overcome obstacles
Helping them to succeed.

You've Changed
by
Sheng

It has been a while.
We have not met.
My heart tells me you're still the one.
I ancicipate our meeting.
Time has come
We meet again.
We talk and laugh.
But something tells me
You have changed
Things are different
We sit far from each other.
Not like we used to
Hopes fade away when...
You go back home.
No calls, no talks.
Things become silent.

My Dad

by

Wamisho

You always think about me,
You think about my future,
Ignoring the present.
You don’t know you’re suffering my present,
But you know you are granting the future,
By always thinking about my education.
We never decide my education together.
We have different ideas,
I hope that we can connect them.

Straight to the Top
by
Scott

Yo, yo my name is lil Scott
I’m known to keep you hot
You just mad because I got your girl
Unlock so you lames
Just watch I’m only ten
But I’m coming
Straight to the top
Bank rolls in my pockets man
Lets talk dough because you
Know that I got it man
I ride the tracks
Like I’m on a train
Give me a couple years
And I will be
The hottest in the Game
WHAT!
Yo, yo I said give me a
Couple years and I will be the
Hottest in the game.

Yellow Bus
By Sheng

Longer than my house
Long big yellow bus
Yellow as a twinkle
twinkle little star
Like a busy buzzing bee
We ride everyday
Pass everywhere
See everything
Because of the yellow bus.

My Grandpa
by Mai

I Miss you grandpa
Where are you now?
I know
You’re someplace in Thailand
I used to sleep with you
You snored
It  was okay
You gave me candy
Gave me help
I know now you’re gone
Still believe you’re with me
Always and forever!
I love you grandpa

Rain, rain go away,
Mr Nass is going to play.
If the rain goes away,
Mr Nass will get to stay.
