When you walk into our classroom you will find an inviting atmosphere including a book corner with a couch, a growing classroom library, desks arranged in groups, and an active buzz of student discussion.
Six different languages are represented in our classroom including English, Hmong, Spanish, Oromo, Vietnamese, Cambodian and KaRen.
Our class is continually working together to build a community of friends and learners. We hold a morning meeting each day and are engaged in discussions and community building activities as well as academics.

Wet Bugs and Spring Planting
During the week of April 28 we had a presentation about wet bugs Most kids enjoyed it and had fun learning about and handling the bugs. The next day we planted flowers for May day. We are learning about plants and plant parts as well as how to care for them.
