Students work to improve their reading comprehension and develop a love of reading at the | | Peer revising of writing | same time.
Ms. Johnson is with us two and a half hours a day during literacy block. With her help, students are taught reading in small group with at least weekly individual conferencing. Her expertise in language learning helps all students.
As a class, our special goal | | A guided writing group | is to improve math skills. Our challenging Everyday Math curriculum is supplemented with fact mastery, problem solving, and test preparation. Students work independently in Accelerated Math to review and polish skills as well as to challenge themselves.
